Early childhood music education
At music play school, the child gets to know the world of music by singing, learning poems, playing instruments and engaging in physical play and lesson-specific exercises. The goal is to encourage an interest in music and to develop the child’s singing ability, sense of rhythm and tone, musical listening ability and social skills. This musical activity can be seen as a part of the Christian education we offer to families. The activity is free of charge.
We divide children in different groups. There are groups for babies, for 1- to 2-year-olds, for over 2-year-olds and for siblings. Childhood music education is organized in Lappeenranta city center, Sammonlahti parish, Lauritsala parish and Joutseno parish.
